Cosplay berarti hobi mengenakan pakaian beserta aksesori dan rias wajah seperti yang dikenakan tokoh-tokoh dalam anime, manga, manhwa, dongeng, permainan video, penyanyi dan musisi idola, dan film kartun. Pelaku cosplay disebut cosplayer, Di kalangan penggemar, cosplayer juga disingkat sebagai layer.
